Gen Chem 1: A-
Gen Chem 2 Honors: A
Gen Bio 1 Honors: C+
Gen Bio 2: C+
Orgo 1 (summer session: 5 weeks): C
Orgo 1 (retake, regular semester): A-
Every other class is an A. B+ in Calc 1.
Currently at a 3.5 gpa. Haven't gotten my associates yet.
Extracurriculars:
-EMT for 2-3 years
-2-summer internships at Brookhaven National Lab.
-Tutoring year round ranging from 1st grade to College level chemistry
-So far no shadowing any doctors but will before I apply
Because of my 2 C+s in Bio I feel like I don't have a chance. There were also massive amounts of extra credit for both bio classes so I maybe would have ended up with a C-/D+ in both, idk. Chemistry comes easy to me, I guess its because I had a very strong foundation from high school. Biology is something else. I never had the foundation, hs biology didn't help me at ALL. I have to work 10x harder in bio than I have to do for chem. I want to retake both bios in a community college because I feel that I'd probably score in the B range for both, most likely not As. I don't want to take them at a 4 year because I know I'd probably get a C+ again. I've gotten 4 Cs total. One from Organic chem summer session, -WORST decision of my life and the other in history. Should I even think about becoming a doctor anymore?
