Timing of LORs

Greetings,

I have found two science professors willing to write me strong LORs. The first is from this past semester and the second is from Spring 2015. I am not going to apply until 2017, so ordinarily I wouldn't ask for the LORs until about this time next year. However, I don't want my performance to fade in the memories of these professors.

I was thinking about asking them now to submit to interfolio. Is there any disadvantage to this plan? My primary concern is that schools will see the date the letters were written and that will raise some kind of read flag that I'm not considering.

I plan to apply primarily to TMDSAS schools, though I definitely want to option to apply through AMCAS and AACOMAS depending on how I end up doing on the MCAT.
