Why just Stanford? Family? Lots of excellent med schools out there and high competition to aim for just one.
Seems like a lot of stuff for a 19 yr old just in amount of time it would take to accurately learn the life lessons from each. Ran your own business, EMT for a year, and ER tech? Beyond just stellar academics. Be ready to explain how you accomplished all of this in your application/II or someone might think your are fluffing things.
Getting into the upper tier MD schools, besides your stats, often requires some networking as well. So you should consider if there is a way of getting a LOR from a Stanford grad physician and as Goro said you really do need to show work with those less fortunate.
