But wait, I thought it was PCOS that caused autism. Or was it overweight mothers? What will it be next week?

From what I'm reading (and granted I haven't read the whole study), but experts who are have said there are design flaws, and one of the authors has been accused in the past of ignoring evidence he didn't like. So.....I think more evidence is needed then this one study.

And the truth is, there is every reason to believe that a number of different symdromes are being called "autism", that there are a number of different causes of autism, and most like, autism is caused by a combination of genetic vulnerability and one of several different environmental causes.
