I have to ask: Why are some of you considering programs that cost 6 figures to get a OT degree? My program costs 40k, and many programs cost that much or a bit less. The average OT salary is 75k - your average starting salary is going to be less than that (we're talking averages, and average figures from BLS don't lie).
I do think it is borderline unethical that some programs are charging 6 figures for an OT degree; students should vote with their feet and look at cheaper alternatives. I think that ACOTE makes sure that your OT program will have all the core components in order to pass the NBCOT, and NBCOT first time pass rates are your guide for looking at that metric.
