New to the site, just looking for some honest opinions from people with similar hurdles in their pursuit of Medicine. Long story short; URM female in every since of the phrase, parent of 2, no trad student (28 years old), undergrad cgpa 2.4 Psych degree (low for many reasons), self post bacc with sgpa 4.0(last 3 semesters straight As in Science 40 units), mcat 508, 2000 EC hours serving academically disadvantaged students, 200 hours shadowing Neurologist, and current cgpa 2.8. Do I have a shot at MD/DO state side? If not, Post back or Caribbean? I really do not want to waste anymore time than I already have! Thanks! CA resident.
