High Stats, 2 Interviews, 6 Rejections, Mostly Silence, Looking for Advice

This is my first post to SDN after being a lurker during the application cycle, and I was hoping I could get some advice on my situation and how I should move forward. The story goes like this (numbers left vague to protect my identity in this cycle):

My stats:

MCAT: >38 (took the old MCAT, did not take new one)
CA Resident, Non-URM
Graduated Top 30 University

Research:
3 years in a research lab
1 publication authorship (not as the first author) in a medium impact factor research journal
Multiple research fellowship grants (from school and outside organizations)

Community Service (Non-Clinical):
>300 hours with student community service organization

Community Service (Clinical):

I was hoping I could get some feedback on what I could improve on in my application should I have to reapply since things are looking pretty grim this late in the cycle. I am currently applying to some full-time research jobs at nearby universities, and possibly getting a paid scribe job, but haven't decided on how I should move forward yet.
