I had some technical troubles with my MCAT this year, which forced me to submit my applications the first of September. I know this is a little on the late side, but not too bad (most of what I read said don't bother once you get into september, but it was just barely september).
I applied to the following schools:
Wisconsin Madison
Ohio State University
University of Arizona Tuscon
University of South Dakota
Mayo
University of Minnesota Duluth
Of these schools, the only one I got an interview from was USD. This is definitely my last choice, as the location SUCKS. My question is whether I would have a decent chance if I reapplied again next year to the other schools earlier, with some additional shadowing (though my dad is a doc, and I worked closely with docs in the ER), and some more volunteering experince etc. I think I would be a shoe in to USD, so I'm just wondering if I should wait till next year to have a full pull at some other schools?
Any help or thoughts you have would be awesome!
