Doing optometry outside Canada or US

To come back to US, you have to do the 2 year conversion programs that cost just as much as 4 years of OD school.
To come back to Canada, you have to do waterloo's 1 year bridging program (IOBP).
Financially, it probably makes no sense to study abroad if your goal is to practice in the US.
