I'm currently in the middle of my application cycle. I have a 34 MCAT and around a 3.55 cGPA and sGPA, with a decent amount of medical and non-medical community service (which I am continuing to do) as well as research which will earn me 2 co-authorships (one has been submitted). As far as red flags go, I do have a 7 on my MCAT verbal.
I applied early to 32 schools, basing my school choices largely off the excel spreadsheet I saw floating around on the forums as well as input from fellow sdners. At this point, I have had one interview (which I am waiting to hear back from), six rejections. The other 25 have been either silence or hold.
I know it is late, but I submitted my primary AACOMAS app in mid-November and am pre-writing secondaries. I am also being pushed towards applying to Caribbean schools as well. I wanted to get insight on what I should do in my current situation. Specifically, I wanted to know how good my chances are for a DO program given the fact I applied so late. Thanks, and any advice is greatly appreciated.
