cc credit limit

I have an AAS from years past and from a different region. I needed to start over at a cc to transfer to a uni in current state because my cc credits were not transferable. Because of this, I will have a lot more cc credits than the ~60 limit. Does this disqualify me from the majority of dental schools?

DAT breakdown

I wanted to thank everyone here because I read many breakdowns and tips on studying for DAT here and it was very helpful while I was preparing my DAT. Here is my breakdown now and it may not be amazing scores but I am pretty happy with my score. :)

Warning: this is going to be a long, very long indeed, breakdown. I don't know how to say this in a few words. Sorry.

Field/specialties with the least amount of euthanasia?

Hi everyone,

I would like to hear about some of the areas in veterinary medicine one can work in that do not require a lot of euthanasia procedures. I don't want this to become a debate about euthanasia. I understand it can be a gift in an animals last moments of suffering. I am simply curious if there are certain fields that require you to euthanize far less than general practice or emergency.

I am very interested in zoo medicine.

I am also interested in rehab for animals. Do any of...

Is it possible to have a relationship while in Dental School?

I've heard horror stories about Med/Dental school, and how it is like drinking from a fire hose for 4 straight years.
I'd love some feedback from current DS students (or recent graduates), about the feasibility of having a relationship with someone not in dental school. My current gf won't be able to handle me getting home from the library every weeknight at 11pm, then studying all weekend, and I neither blame her, nor want to subject her to feeling alone in a "relationship" while I'm nose...

Character Reference LOR

Hey,

I'm applying to optometry school this year, and I'm only allowed to submit 1 character letter of reference. I know this a pre-med forum, but this forum is a bit more active, and my question is a more general question about LOR. I can get a potential letter of reference from 2 different people.

1) I worked at a lab over the summer for 3 months. The principal investigator has offered to write a strong LOR. But the problem is I don't if a LOR from PI would be good idea for optometry....
